America First Energy Coalition (AFEC) is a group of local operators working to identify opportunities in Oklahoma's energy sector

The Coalition

It is no secret that the oil and gas industry has been negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as by unrealistic timetables for transitioning to renewable energy. In the last couple of years in Oklahoma, many of the smaller oil and gas companies have gone bankrupt. Those who have managed to stay afloat have done so by partnering together and continuing to look to the future of energy in our state. The Oklahoma state motto is “Labor Omnia Vincit,” meaning "labor conquers all things." The AFEC Coalition has been laboring during these difficult times and has identified many new opportunities to bring more affordable, and cleaner energy to our state.

AFEC Management

The America First Energy Coalition is managed by Jerry M. Spalvieri, President of Buckeye Exploration Company, based in Chandler, Oklahoma. Learn more about Buckeye Exploration Company or Jerry Spalvieri.

The AFEC Program

AFEC plans are specifically designed to rapidly develop existing oil and gas assets during a time of rapidly improving commodity prices. The plan is entirely comprised of low-risk and low-cost ventures in order to expeditiously establish cashflow to roll back into additional low-cost drilling and development opportunities.

AFEC is dedicated to producing domestic oil and gas to contribute to the effort of keeping America energy independent. We now believe with the current push to implement the “Green New Deal”, which plans to replace oil and natural gas resources with renewables such as wind and solar, along with electric vehicles, will only lead to much better oil and gas commodity prices.
